Apricots preserved in a local honey syrup:
3 lbs. apricots, 1 cup of local honey, 2 1/2 cups of water
Just prepare the apricots by slicing them in half and pitting them. Place them upside down in sterilized jars, bring the honey and water to a simmer on the stove, and cover the apricots leaving a bit of space at the top. Process in boiling water for 10 minutes.
